ADA Announces Board of Directors Election Results

The Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) is pleased to announce that Angela Morris, Au.D., has been elected to serve as ADA’s president-elect for the 2015-2016 program year. “It is an honor to be nominated and elected by my peers and to serve a profession for which I carry so much passion," said Dr. Morris. "I made a commitment many years ago to do my part to advance Audiology."

Angela Morris, Au.D., has been the owner of Southeast Kentucky Audiology since 2003. Previously, Dr. Morris has been a Contract Audiologist for the KY Commission for Children with Special Health Care Needs; Contract Audiologist for the Daniel Boone Clinic, Dr. Samir Guindi, ENT; President of the Kentucky Academy of Audiology; and has been a board member for ADA in 2011 and 2013-present, where she currently serves as Treasurer. Dr. Morris received her Au.D. from Salus University, M.S. from the University of Louisville and her B.S. from the University of Kentucky.

 
Chrisopher Hamilton, Au.D., has been elected to serve on the ADA Board of Directors as a Director-at-Large. Dr. Hamilton has been a private practice owner and operator since 2009 in Asheville, North Carolina. He has been a Fellow ADA member since 2007 and has served on the Conference Planning Committee, Mentoring Task Force, Professional Leadership Training Planning Committee and the Mentoring Committee.


Patricia Dabrowski, Au.D., has been elected to the ADA Board of Directors to serve as a Director-at-Large. Dr. Dabrowski is an Associate Professor, Clinical Coordinator at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona. She has served on the ADA Education Committee, where she was the Chair from 2013-2015, and the ADA Conference Planning Committee from 2009-2010.

Incoming board members and officers will be installed to their new positions at ADA's Annual Membership Meeting to be held at the ADA Annual Convention on Thursday, November 12th, at 4:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.
