Drs. Spoor and Schmidbauer Elected to Serve ADA Membership

The Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) is pleased to announce that Alicia Spoor, Au.D., has been elected to serve as ADA’s President-Elect for the 2016-2017 program year and Larry Schmidbauer, Au.D., has been elected to serve as a Director-at-Large.

The Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) is pleased to announce that Alicia Spoor, Au.D., has been elected to serve as ADA’s President-Elect for the 2016-2017 program year. 
Dr. Spoor earned her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) in 2006 from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., her Master of Science (M.S.) in Audiology in 2005 from Gallaudet University and her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Audiology/Speech Sciences with Honors in 2002 from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. Dr. Spoor has served on the ADA Board of Directors since 2013 and has been a Fellow member since 2008. Currently, Dr. Spoor is the owner of Designer Audiology, LLC in Highland, Maryland.

 
Dr. Schmidbauer has been elected to serve on the ADA Board of Directors as a Director-at-Large. Dr. Schmidbauer received his Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from A.T. Still University in 2001 and has been the owner of Professional Hearing Care in Tiffin, Ohio since 1990. He was the Chair of the ADA Education Committee from 2015-2016 and served on the Conference Committee from 2013-2014.
 
Incoming board members will be installed to their new positions at ADA's Annual Membership Meeting to be held on Saturday, November 12th, at 5:00 p.m. at
