Welcome to ADA PracticeMatch, the only practice matching system designed specifically for audiologists, Au.D. students and practice owners. ADA’s PracticeMatch system brings audiology’s present and future together to achieve mutual goals.

What is ADA PracticeMatch?

ADA PracticeMatch is a one-stop location to connect practice owners with employees, partners, externs and practice buyers. By the same token, the ADA PracticeMatch system allows students and non-owner audiologists to find professional opportunities available in a private practice setting, and to help them achieve an ownership position in private practice if they so desire.

Who developed ADA PracticeMatch?

ADA PracticeMatch was developed by the ADA Practice Resource Advisory Committee (comprised of practice owners and focused on autonomy) to meet the business needs of the practice owner, regardless of the stage of their practice’s life cycle. Input was received from the student initiatives committee and a focus group of potential users, who provided key insight into the design of the PracticeMatch system.

Why was ADA PracticeMatch developed?

During the 2012 ADA member needs assessment survey, 50 percent of respondents indicated that they would be retiring from practice within the next decade. Many of them are seeking opportunities to sell or transition their practices to other audiologists. More than 70 percent of ADA survey respondents indicated that an online Practice Matching tool would be useful for their business.

This system is a service for ADA members, students and audiologists interested in placement, employment, partnership or ownership in a private practice. This system is a free service for ADA members, and available for a nominal charge for non-members.

How do I use the ADA PracticeMatch system?

1. Complete your profile (buyer, seller, student, employee, partner)
2. Include your curriculum vitae (C.V.), key practice information, specialties and a personal statement
3. Browse opportunities
4. Contact individuals who have opportunities that you are interested in

Note: Practice sellers may choose to list their practices anonymously. ADA can forward such communications confidentially.
