ADA 2008 Convention: A Sure Bet for Your Audiology Career
ADA invites you to join your peers for education, networking and just plain fun at the 2008 Annual Convention, November 6-8, at the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas, NV.
ADA’s concentrated two-day program, plus pre-convention workshops the day ahead, is geared for audiologists involved or interested in autonomous practice, and will feature sessions that offer hands-on practical business knowledge as well as insightful clinical education in four key areas:
Practice Development/Business Tools
Diagnostic/Biomedical/Research
Amplification/Rehabilitation/Counseling
Professional/Advocacy/Legal/ Ethical Issues
The 2008 Convention promises abundant opportunities for intimate networking with friends, peers, and industry leaders, a meaningful exchange of ideas, and plenty of fun in the sun. For the first time, ADA has also organized career-stage tracks that are specifically designed for audiologists in early-, mid- and late-career, plus a student track on the day ahead as part of our mentoring program.
When you make your 2008 Convention travel plans, be sure to plan to arrive in time for the “Day Aheads” on Thursday (November 6th ) — and don't race home either! Spend Saturday afternoon Nov 8th with your colleagues and enjoy racing some of the fastest indoor go-carts in the nation at Pole Position Raceway in Las Vegas, NV! Teams will compete for the best time, and prizes will be awarded. Racing not for you? That’s OK because this event is family-friendly with lots to do besides racing. The facility has 22+ arcade games, pool tables, and supplier-sponsored hospitality rooms!
Busses will leave at 1:30 p.m. for the event. After the races, transportation will be available back to the hotel or to the Las Vegas strip after 5:00p.m. Proceeds will benefit ADA and AFA. For more information, contact
at (765) 743-6283. The registration form will be available online at www.AuDfound.org starting August 15.
