To support practitioners pursuing the Au.D. degree through Distance Learning, the Audiology Foundation of America established a scholarship program called the Audiology Professional Organization Practitioner Scholarship Award. Recipients of the award are selected by their audiology professional organization. The Academy of Doctors of Audiology, a leader in the Au.D. movement from the beginning, encourages Distance Learning candidates to apply for this award.
