Music audiology is a small specialized field, and until the 2020 clinical consensus document there wasn't much guidance for clinical practice. The speakers were authors on the document, and will review the key implications for clinical practice in the testing and management of Music industry professionals, as well as providing updates on research and technological advancements. One impactful advancement is the availability of tele-audiology, which has the effect of improving access and awareness.

- Apply clinical best practices to the audiologic care of musicians and music industry professionals.
- Identify tools and methods available to verify hearing protection devices and in-ear monitors.
- Assess how teleaudiology impacts access to and provision of hearing healthcare to music industry professionals.
