#  Why Auracast Now, and How to Advocate for it in Your Communities

Auracast is now reality, with facilities installing it alongside their present assistive listening system or by itself. There are already HCPs advocating for Auracast at venues their patients frequent, and you can too. Some with audio experience are even offering to install it themselves.

This session will begin with a brief review of what Auracast is, what devices are available, and what’s coming. That will be followed by examples of recent installations and their outcomes, then focus on how to approach and speak to local venues about the value of Auracast, review of available tools, and how equipment is obtained.

**Attendees will be able to:**

1. Give some examples of venues that have already installed Auracast
2. Explain why Auracast adds value to both venues and users in different environments
3. Share the cost, how to buy, and installation requirements when Auracast is added on top of an existing system, or by itself
