Optimum Audiology is seeking a full-time Audiologist to join our thriving team in Apple Valley, California. For over a decade, our independently owned audiology practice has been dedicated to providing the highest quality hearing services across the High Desert and beyond, partnering with patients of all ages to help them reconnect with family, friends, and the world around them. Led by Dr. Kristi Mendoza, Au.D., our team delivers comprehensive diagnostics, advanced hearing solutions, and flexible care options, including concierge and telehealth services, all with a patient-centered approach rooted in respect, empathy, and excellence. Requirements:

  • Must have a Doctorate in Audiology (or equivalent degree)
  • Has earned or is eligible to obtain a California State Audiology License.
  • Ideal candidate is enthusiastic, outgoing, and team oriented
  • Must be proficient in the following clinical skills:
    • Pure tone air and bone conduction audiometry
    • Immittance testing - tympanometry, WBT, acoustic reflexes, decay
    • Distortion Product Otoacoustic Emissions - diagnostic and screening protocols
    • Speech-in-Noise testing, such as QuickSIN
    • Hearing Aid Electroacoustic Analysis
    • Real Ear Measurements
    • Hearing Aid Sales and Counseling
    • Tinnitus Diagnostics, Management and Counseling
    • Aural Rehabilitation
    • Adept with Pediatrics
    • Vestibular evaluation and treatment (VNG and cVEMP proficient or willing to become proficient)

Preferred:

  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience preferred
  • Tinnitus Diagnostics, management, and counseling
  • Bone-anchored device fitting & follow-up
  • Comfort with, or willing to learn, the following manufacturers:
    • Oticon / Oticon Medical
    • ReSound
    • Starkey
    • Widex
    • Phonak
  • Knowledge of Counsel Ear a plus
  • Bi-lingual: English & Spanish preferred
