The presentation emphasized the unique needs of the modern aging population, contrasting them with previous generations. Baby Boomers, in particular, showed greater interest in educational content and proactive engagement than in psychosocial support. As such, Amplify’s curriculum was refined to include high-demand modules like communication strategies, nutritional tips, and speech reading exercises, while less popular content was phased out. The platform’s auditory training focuses on enhancing word discrimination, memory, processing speed, and attention through gamified exercises designed to be engaging and effective.

Research backing Amplify’s design has demonstrated improvements in speech discrimination, listening confidence, and acclimation to hearing aids. Clinicians can integrate Amplify with minimal time investment, using tools like personalized brochures and a clinician portal to monitor patient progress. The platform also offers revenue opportunities through its subscription model. Overall, the webinar highlighted Amplify as a practical, science-backed solution to address the often-overlooked rehabilitation pillar of hearing care, enhancing both patient outcomes and clinical efficiency.
