About Us:

Placid Audiology is a locally owned, independent audiology practice that provides excellent patient-centered care for hearing loss, tinnitus, and hearing loss prevention for a primarily adult population. We are a member of the Entheos Audiology Cooperative, nurturing excellence and Humanitarian Audiology.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations, assessments, and hearing instrument fittings
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient
  • Provide counseling and education to patients on hearing loss, hearing device use, hearing loss prevention, and tinnitus treatment options.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Audiology state licensure
  • Strong clinical skills in audiological assessments, hearing aid evaluations, and fittings
  • Strong skills (or willingness to learn) in all aspects of running a small private practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and follow-through
  • A commitment to providing client-centered care

Requirements:

  • Master's degree and/or Doctorate in Audiology
  • New York license (or ability to obtain licensure in Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing)
  • Excellent communication, time management skills, and attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Ability to establish rapport with patients.
